It's great for a student who is in kindergarten through 2nd grade. It's probably not big enough though to hold the homework load that older kids get. It probably wouldn't hold more than 2 text books. I have another year before I have to buy a backpack, but this will be a great solution for us. That way, as there taste in trends change, we can just change up the patches!
