Damon was cruising around on Twitter and came across this Sansbug Tent from Hakuna Matata Tents. They sent us one to try out and share with you today.
The coolest thing about it is that it sets itself up. All you do is take it out of the carrying case and remove the elastic strap that is around it. And then it’s like pulling a rabbit out of a hat…A magical instant refuge!
Our kids like to sleep outside on the trampoline but often come in the next morning with mosquito bites on their heads. This tent fits perfectly on the trampoline. It curves up on the edges and doesn’t have any sharp poles sticking out on the end so it won’t harm the trampoline at all. It allows them to sleep more comfortably and securely without taking away from the experience.
The Sansbug also became an instant outdoor playhouse for the kids. As soon as we set it up they gravitated towards it. Going in and out with toys and playing creatively for a long time.

Sansbug was created a little over a year ago and has since grown to serve an array of people, from volunteers during the aftermath of natural disasters to families at sporting events. We’ll be using ours not only for sleepovers on the trampoline but also as a playpen for babies while camping, at the beach and probably just for a fun spot to read a book outside.
Sansbug has made three different versions… a one, two and three man version ranging from $47-$60.

Tents look like they’d be ideal for when the grandkids sleepover or need a place to have some time alone while camping.
