Collecting Heirloom Seeds

I captured our first attempt at gathering heirloom seeds on video the other day. Thanks to “The Complete Idiot’s Guide” we figured out how to do it. But we still have a lot of learning to do.

Oh and included is a little DIY anthropologie knock off jar I made to store the seeds in…

It was a nice day spent outside with my boys. We cleaned up the garden beds and raked gobs of leaves. Now I feel like we’re actually ready for the snow to fly! BRING IT!

  1. Wow! I’m not sure if I’m more excited about your seed collecting or the awesome jar that you made to put them in. NICE JOB! Now I honestly can’t wait to start buying baby food so I can have a zillion of those cute jars….ahhhhh!

Hahaha Thanks Jessica, seriously these things are all over my house. I use them to hold safety pins, buttons and lots of other little stuff. I had a lady buy about 50 of them from me to use as party favors at a baby shower. I fixed them up a little cuter. I just hate throwing away things that can usually be repurposed. Pack Rat :\
