Woolrich is one of those names that’s been around a while. In fact their Mountain Parka has been around about as long as I’ve been alive…I’ll let you make some guesses at how long that is.
This old school style has made some upgrades over the years however. It now has Teflon treated fabric that repels water and other substances to help keep you dry.
Here’s Damon’s thoughts on the Mountain Parka:
PROS: It’s more professional looking than the regular winter coat i usually wear to work everyday. It has a lot of pockets for my keys, phone and wallet. It keeps me dry and warm like when I have to scrape snow off the windows of the car early in the morning. It’s true to size. (Damon is 6’2″ and usually gets an XL when it comes to long sleeved items just to be sure they are long enough, but the size Large that we got accommodated his arm length just fine.)
CONS: “The bottom button would periodically come unsnapped while I was sitting or walking and it would ride up a little. The fabric is a little bit loud but not so much to keep me from wearing it. The lining of the jacket left little red fuzzies on my white shirt the first couple times I wore it.”
Overall it’s easy to say it’s a great coat that has lived up to its heritage.

My husband could use this sooooo bad. He doesn’t own a coat that fits him. I would LOVE to win this giveaway for him. He would wear it everyday, everywhere!
This looks like such a manly coat. Perfect for tough jobs like chopping wood or cutting down a Christmas tree. Well since I don’t have a fireplace, maybe I can convince my husband to shovel the sidewalk in it the next time it snows.

This coat looks amazing! I don’t think I would ever take it off!
My husband would love it for going to work when it’s cold here all winter. It would also be good for family walks, sledding, and skating.
My Dad is an avid fisherman… he’s (I’ve) been looking for a good-quality replacement jacket for his old one.
Fiance could definitely use this. We spend a lot of time outside freezing our butts off so the little one can play in the snow and his job also requires looking decent and working outside at times. This parka would look great on any guy and I’m sure he’d love it.

It would definitely go camping. If my husband is the lucky recipient, he will also get to take it along on business trips to locations that are cooler than where we live.

I think this would be a great jacket for my hubby to wear to work the 7 months a year that it’s cold and snowy here in Calgary. The longer length would be perfect for waiting for the train

I’d get this for my husband. We moved to a much colder climate and he could use a more rugged winter coat. We also like going to the mountains, this would be perfect!
