Baby Steps To Clean Eating With Kids – Go To Dinner Salad

This is the second post in a series about Baby Steps To Clean Eating With Kids.

I’ve discovered a new go-to meal that the family likes. It’s a salad but with a punch of scrumptious things that you ordinarily wouldn’t think of adding to a salad.

Mix everything you see above together in a large bowl and let it chill in the fridge for a while. The addition of the chicken, corn and garbanzo beans seems to make it more filling.

The kids ate it up and it was easy to make, so easy I don’t think I’ll need a list of items or a recipe card next time. It will be great for the summer when I don’t feel like cooking too much too.

What’s been gracing your family dinner tables lately?

Enjoy your week,

  1. Great idea for the garbanzo’s! Peas are also a good one to sneak in there.
