When I lived in Idaho the hike to Union Falls was one of our favorites. It's near Ashton and is the second largest waterfall in the Yellowstone backcountry. There's no real elevation gain or loss but it's a fairly long hike, about 8 miles one way. There are campsites, so you can make it an overnight backpacking trip or just a long day hike. You have to ford a river a couple times before you reach the waterfall so packing some sandals wouldn't be a bad idea. Take mosquito spray too. Yikes! I got eaten alive while trying to change my shoes. After the long hike and lookout over the waterfall you can take a trail down to the base of the fall or you can take another quick path down to a warm swimming hole, where there are some fun rocks to jump off into the water! The Mountain Goat did a great write-up about this hike. It includes directions as well!
