Sharp’s at Waterford Farm

Every year for the past five years we pack the kids in to head to Sharp's at Waterford Farm to pick our own pumpkins. It is really the best deal compared to other DC Suburb “Pick-Your-Own” Farms. You don't have to pay for parking or entry. They have free hayrides and a free petting zoo. It is an absolutely beautiful property. You only pay for what you buy.

It's kind of set up like a farm museum. You can see how bees make their honey and walk through the barns. In the Spring and Summer they do educational tours. You can do this with a small family group or with a school. I hope to find some other people to do that with me.

It's a great farming experience for the kids. (Located in Brookville, MD north of Olney off Georgia Ave).
